Matt Toburen of Nexus RC provided the Board with a review of the Nexus RC App to date and demonstrated the App for the Board. The BCRC went live with the App for all employees in August. It was reported to the Board that employees have been actively engaged with the App and, after using it for only a few days, began suggesting additional ideas and improvements.

The Board then discussed the next steps for the App. The Continued Value Creation program would consist of the following:

  • ERP and payroll integration
  • Map layers and asset visibility
  • Four-year township plans
  • GPS snow tracking
  • Emergency response and on-call capabilities
  • Coordinated segment work
  • Training videos

Mr. Toburen discussed cost sharing for the next phase with the Board. Nexus RC would contribute $250,000 toward the Continued Value Creation program, and he requested that BCRC contribute $225,000.

Motion was made by Commissioner James and seconded to have Management sign the Enhancement Contract with Nexus RC for a total of $225,000.
