The BCRC has been responding to tree and drainage related road issues since about 1am today. We have some road closed due to electric wire is down trees as well as water over the roadways. We are coordinating with the BC Emergency Operations Center as well as utility companies and will continue working to get roads back open as soon as possible. The National Weather Service is anticipating additional rain fall and potential severe weather over the next 48-72 hours. Rural Task Force #3 Meeting

A public meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 10 at 1:00 p.m. for the purpose of allowing local officials and interested citizens to provide input into the allocation of state and federal aid funds for eligible rural routes and transit systems in Barry, Branch, Calhoun, Kalamazoo and St. Joseph counties for fiscal years 2026 – 2029. The meeting will be held at the offices of the Road Commission of Kalamazoo County
