Motion was made by Commissioner Fiala and seconded to a approve a 2.50% raise to the Non-Association regular full time employees to coincide with what the Association Employees received in their contract. All applicable benefits of the current Barry County Road Commission Employees’ Association contract will also apply to the Non-Association regular full time employees of the Barry County Road Commission with the exception of Line 8 under Schedule A.

Damage to roads by farmers was discussed. The Board agreed to stay with current practices of billing farmers for the damage.

The Board Members interviewed Ryan Preston Brown, Gerald C. Peterson, and Jake Welch for the Managing Director position. After the interviews the board discussed the candidates.
Motion was made by Commissioner Solmes and seconded to offer the position of Managing Director, effective at a date to be determined, to Jake Welch and enter in Contract Negotiations with Mr. Welch.
