Barry County Road Commission
Barry County Road Commission maintains all of the County Public Roads in Barry County.
MDOT and The Barry County Drain Commission will be completing a project on the Watson Drain which will result in the closure of M-43 between the North and South ends of Sprague Rd in Delton. Sprague Rd will also be closed to thru traffic. There is a posted detour route beginning this morning until the project is complete. Please reach out to MDOT with any questions, we are just trying to help get the word out.
Crews will be paving the widened shoulders on Irving Rd between M-37 & Loop Rd today. Expect delays but the road will remain open to flagger controlled traffic. Tomorrow they will pave the shoulders on McCann Rd between M-37 & W. State Rd.

We will be paving the widened shoulders on Briggs Rd from Bass Rd to M-179. We will also start widening shoulders on Irving Rd from about Loop Rd to the first curve North of M-37 & McCann Rd from just North of M-37 to W. State Rd. These will both be completed under flag control, expect delays and please be patient with our crews.
