Dave DeHaan from Walker, Fluke, and Sheldon, PLC presented to the Board the 2014 Audit Report. Dave DeHaan reported that the Barry County Road Commission received an unquailed opinion or a “clean” opinion for the audit ending December 31, 2014. This is considered the best or highest level the Road Commission could receive.
Motion was made and seconded to accept the 2014 Audit Report.

Rob Richardson, Equipment Superintendent, and Scott Bond, Superintendent, came into the Board Meeting to discuss the sale of the trucks and equipment needs.
Bids for the sale of used trucks were opened at 10:00 A.M. on May 5, 2015.

Chairman Frank Fiala signed a letter requesting the 5th Judicial Circuit Court to dismiss the Barry County Road Commission on a Summons and Complaint Case #15-192-CH at 6364 S. M-66 Highway as it is under the jurisdiction of the State of Michigan through MDOT.
