The regular meeting of the Barry County Road Commission was called to order at 9:00 A.M. by Chairman Willcutt.
Members present: Willcutt, Dykstra, Pashby, and Engineer-Manager Brad Lamberg.
The minutes of May 22, 2001 meeting were accepted as read.
Motion by Commissioner Pashby seconded by Commissioner Dykstra to approve the payroll for payment.

Mike Seibold spoke with the board on purchasing and installing a temporary speed bump by his residence at 2081 Archwood – Gun Lake. Mr. Seibold said he would purchase the speed bump and would put it down and take it up before the winter months. The board told Mr. Seibold they would get back with him after they went to the site to look at the location and then decide.
The Asphalt Laying bids were opened at 11:00 A.M.

Engineer/Manager Lamberg reported on the Whitneyville Project, he has been meeting with property owners and things are coming along well.
Commissioner Pashby would like to see a safe work light or posting of some kind that could be displayed to show if any accidents have occurred or not.
