The regular meeting of the Barry County Road Commission was called to order at 9:00 A.M. by Chairman Willcutt.
Members present: Willcutt, Pashby, and Engineer-Manager Brad Lamberg.

Engineer Manger Brad Lamberg shared with the Board the C.R.A.M. Ballot for the Election of the Board of Directors. Four candidates were selected.
The board received the Barry County Road Commission Debt Schedule and reviewed it.
Motion by Commissioner Willcutt seconded by Commissioner Pashby to permit bonding on gravel roads up to 1 mile in length at $150,000 per mile or as determined by the county engineer.

Discussion was held on Senate Bill 46 and MDOT’s non-compliance.
Discussion was held on the Orangeville Dam.
Grade project costs were discussed. Different options on matching funds contributed by the Road Commission may be looked at in the future.

Motion by Commissioner Willcutt seconded by Commissioner Pashby to accept the Resolution from Hope Township.

At the February 8, 2001 Hope Township Special meeting of the Board of Trustees, the members voted to approve the 2001 Clearing, Grading, Gravel and Asphalt Base of Ackers Point from M-43 to the End at a cost of $54,800.00 with the finishing work done in 2002. We also approved the 2001 Clearing, Grading, Gravel to widen narrow spots on Gurd Road south of Pritchardville of 400 feet at a cost of $15,300.00 with the remaining site to be done in 2002.
Motion by Commissioner Willcutt seconded by Commissioner Pashby to require East Jordan Iron Works 8″ monument box #2965 for paved roads under jurisdiction of the Barry County Road Commission. Monument shall be at the discretion of the County Surveyor and buried a minimum of 6″ in gravel roads.
