The regular meeting of the Barry County Road Commission was called to order at 9:00 A.M. by Chairman Willcutt.
Members present: Willcutt, Dykstra, Pashby, and Engineer-Manager Brad Lamberg.
Minutes of the January 16, 2001 meeting was approved as read by the Secretary.
Payroll for January 30, 2001 was approved for payment.

Darwin McCullen from Davenport Road, Woodland Township, talked with the Board about condition of the shoulders and cracks in the road.
Mike Norton talked with the Board on Dave Hineline doing some tree cutting safety training.
Motion by Commissioner Willcutt seconded by Commissioner Pashby authorizing the Tree Care Safety and Skills Training by Dave Hineline at a cost of $600 per day.

A contingent of people representing the Thornapple Trail Association and Washington Family talked with the Board on an alternate route for the Paul Henry Trail to go along M-79, Greggs Crossing Road, and Divine Road.
Motion by Commissioner Willcutt seconded by Commissioner Dykstra that the Board agrees that the outside 6′ (27′ to 33′) is a viable alternate route for the Paul Henry Trail on the County Right-of-Way of Greggs Crossing Road (East of Divine) ¼ mile to the Washington property then Devine Road North from Greggs Crossing Road to the existing railroad bed.

Motion by Commissioner Dykstra seconded by Commissioner Pashby to accept the extension from Daltons of their 2000 bid price of .634¢ per gallon for 2001.
