The regular meeting of the Barry County Road Commission was called to order at 9:00 A.M. by Chairman Willcutt.
Members present: Willcutt, Dykstra and Managing Director Brad Lamberg. Pashby excused.
The agenda for September 14, 2004 was approved.
The minutes of August 24, 2004 was approved as read by the Secretary.
Motion by Commissioner Dykstra seconded by Commissioner Willcutt to approve the payroll for payment.

Rob Richardson talked with the Board on the selling of some old equipment.
Motion by Commissioner Dykstra seconded by Commissioner Willcutt Whereas the Plat of Glass Creek Estates in Section 1 of Yankee Springs Township, T4N, R9W, has been approved and 0.50 miles of Crystal Way Court in this Plat have been constructed to our specification.
Now therefore be it resolved that the above road be accepted into the Barry County Road System and the Board to assume maintenance of said roads and add these roads to our annual Mileage Certification sent to the Michigan Department of Transportation on 3-1-05.

The special meeting for the hearing regarding the limited sight distance at the intersection of Kane Road and Cressey Road was called to order at 7:00 P.M. at the Prairieville Township Hall.
Members present: Willcutt, Dykstra, and Managing Director Brad Lamberg.
The potential improvements were presented to the public; the grading of Cressey Road to provide adequate sight vision, relocating Kane Road to line up with Kane Road to the North, or closing Kane Road at Cressey Road and only allowing access via M-89.
The meeting then was opened up for public comment.
The public hearing was closed to the public and a decision will be made by the Road Commission at a later date.
The special meeting adjourned at 8:30 P.M.
