The agenda for September 9, 2003 was approved.
The minutes of August 26, 2003 was approved as read by the Secretary.

Under public comment Shannon Pratter and Larry Morton discussed their driveway permit for Maple Grove Township, Clark Road. Doug Peck and Brad Lamberg will meet the individuals at the location to see what the situation is.
Motion by Commissioner Willcutt seconded by Commissioner Dykstra to take the bids for (2) F550 4WD Regular Cab and Chassis Trucks off the table and award bid to Duthler Ford Sales.

Harry Odronaine and Jim Rutherford talked with the Board on having a tire collection at the Road Commission facility.
Motion by Commissioner Willcutt seconded by Commissioner Dykstra authorizing the use of the Barry County Road Commission facility on October 4, 2003 for a tire collection. Two Barry County Road Commission Employees to help and that their wages and fringes be included in the Barry County Health Department grant being applied for.
