Barry County Road Commission

The special meeting of the Barry County Road Commission was called to order at 2:45 P.M.

 

Members present:  Willcutt, Dykstra, Pashby, and Managing Director Brad Lamberg.

 

Members present from the Employees Association:  Heath, Rogers, Hull, and Burghdoff.

 

Motion by Commissioner Pashby seconded by Commissioner Dykstra to approve Amendment #1 Article XII to the January 1, 2003 to December 31, 2006 contract.

 

     ROLL CALL:  Yeas, Willcutt, Dykstra, & Pashby

                              Nays, None

                              Motion Carried

 

Amendment #1

To

Agreement between

Board of County Road Commissioners of Barry County

and

The Barry County Road Commission Employees’ Association

January 1, 2003 to December 31, 2006

  

The undersigned agree to amend Article XII – Health Care Insurance from the above named Contract to read as follows:

 ARTICLE XII

HEALTH CARE INSURANCE

 

            Section A.  For all active employees, covered by this Agreement, even if health insurance is not carried through the Road Commission, the Board shall contribute the following amounts of money toward their health care benefit:

 

                                    Single                                       $375/month

                                    Double                                     $785/month

                                    Family                                      $880/month

 

Any costs in excess of the above will be borne by the employee through payroll deduction.  All health care coverage shall cease when employee retires or separates service from the Road Commission.

           

            Section B.   The actual health care providers and plans as well as any Section 125 plans shall be determined by a committee of active employees and management representatives.  Any health care plans as implemented shall comply with all rules and regulations of the provider as well as any other local, state and or federal laws.

 

            Section C.   The prescription plans offered shall include a mail order benefit that provides for up to a 3 month supply of drugs for payment of a single month’s co-payment.  The BCBSM rider is identified as MOPD.

 

            Section D.  Probationary employees shall become eligible for the insurance benefits stated in Section A, B and C above after three (3) months of service.

 

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this agreement as of the day and year first above written.
